Tentative Conclusions
Just over two thirds of all registered voters in the Western Cape feel as though their quality of life has improved under the DA. Sentiment, however, splits across socio-economic circumstances with poorer respondents being markedly less positive than those in higher socio-economic strata. This finding mirrors that of previous SRF reports such as that of SRF report 27/2023 which tested Western Cape voter sentiment on whether the province was broadly moving in the ‘right direction’.
