TENTATIVE CONCLUSIONS

The data in the report indicates that South African public opinion was set against Donald Trump. These results ran counter to previous Foundation survey results that indicate that South African public opinion is warm to Western liberal democracies. It is noteworthy that while Mr Trump was unpopular amongst South African voters, the two Foundation reports following this shall demonstrate that South Africans were generally in favour of the actions pursued by his American administration.
